Oh this type of story sounds RIGHT up my alley. I'm so stoked. I'm with Caroline in that I struggle with serial fiction, so if you're willing and able to provide a one-time drop at some point (even if it's at the end of your serialized version) I'd be all over that. Either way, though, so happy for you that this story re-entered your life when the time was right, and that we get to be the happy recipients of it!

I’ve really been ruminating on how to put I’m gonna put it out over the past 24 hours. I’ll for sure be providing an update next week with some thoughts and a couple paths forward for how everyone can access the story!!

And thank you for your kind words, Adrianna. makes me so so so happy to have genuinely sweet and encouraging people like you in my corner(:

James. The cover? The concept? The vibes? Shit is immaculate. I’m being goofy, but seriously, I am so fucking excited for this. Marshall sounds like exactly the kind of character I would devour and assimilate into my mind palace for entirely too long. I’m so ready to be annoying in your comments, holy shit.

Reading this blurb made me smile so big!!! I just know you’re gonna knock my socks off. I’m 100% anticipating full-blown fanboy mode to take over the moment Chapter One drops. Thank you in advance for tolerating my antics 🫶🏻

A little plea ... I can't bear reading serial, I have to shlurp up stories in one greedy sitting. I also love to pay a bit for the work. I'm gonna confess right now that I've abandoned a story that I wanted to read - Anstruther's Fallout - because I cannot be doing with the chapter by chapter format. The waiting! The clicking! The back and forth when you can't even remember what fucking chapter you're on! I'm hoping she'll put it out in one solid file that I can download. Now - I did read, and with joy, a full graphic novel from another writer on here who has a cool setup: PayPal her a tenner and you get an instant PDF of the whole thing. Bloody wonderful. Do you think you can work out how to do that kind of thing for us lazy sods who need one simple file? (And then tell us how it's done so we can also do it?) I really believe in the direct-producer model. But people need to be paid for their work - this seems to be a way for that to happen without middle brokers.

Caroline, thank you for this feedback! obviously I am sharing this for the readers so I wanna make the reading experience as easy as possible. I’ve been working really hard to make the serial as seamless and simple as I can but I know the slow-moving nature of it all is just not for everyone.

That being said, I do really love that idea of a pdf for the whole thing, I’m definitely gonna see if I can make something like that work. It’ll mostly depend on figuring out how to format it well, again for a good reader experience. I want everyone to be able to enjoy the story without it feeling like a chore or dropping off for while waiting for the next chapters. Might take me a bit to get it all together but you’ll be the first to know when I’ve figured it out lol

I used InDesign to format my book. Then you can .pdf it. I printed mine. Also digital copies should have an ISBN too. Just fyi for self-publishing
